Future Retreat Plans – 2022

Plan & Prepare to spend two evenings out! We are excited!

Hope you can join us as we celebrate our 7th year of the STAY  FOCUSED CHRISTIAN WRITERS RETREAT. We will be retreating at the Hampton Inn & Suites | Las Vegas-Airport, 6575 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.  The group discount is $135 per night / per room. Roommates are encouraged. If you are interested in having a roommate please call the Stay Focused Magazine Office so we may partner you with an attendee.

Retreat registrants who are hotel guests will receive free hot and cold breakfast with your stay. To gain the full “Retreat Experience”, we urge you to stay overnight. Take full advantage of the serene luxuries that come with staying over night. Experience being well rested for your day and plan two relaxing evenings. The retreat location is “Close to the attractions without the distractions”. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the city a few days before the retreat or a few days after. The hotel will extend your discount when you make your booking; be sure to let them know your dates chosen to stay over.

This facility has luxury accommodations, free shuttle service, free hot and cold breakfast, pool, updated lobby /gathering area, and free parking. There are plenty of areas for privacy and relaxation all very conducive to a learning environment we will establish. Prepare to be well accommodated in this location.

This hotel boasts that you will be “Close to the attractions, without the distractions”, just like a retreat should be. Should you decide to extend your stay beyond the time of the retreat, our location for this vacation city, will prove to be amazing as we are a few minutes away from the famous Las Vegas Strip!

  1. Hi Deanna! For this year, I will have to pass, but we should stay in touch when you’re getting next year’s retreat together. Mostly because of just coming off my March Through Texas Launch Tour and then the North East Texas Writers’ Organization’s Spring Conference–which I am the director of this year and I KNOW you know what all that entails! 🙂 It’s always the last weekend in April. Is your retreat always the first weekend in May?
    Blessings from Texas!
